About

We got tired of watching great photos go nowhere

The gap was never the photography. Operators were producing genuinely good work, and then losing it in the last three feet — the AirDrop queue, the mistyped number, the gallery link sent on Tuesday that half the guests never opened.

Tag Your Photo was built to close that gap. A guest scans a code once and takes a selfie. From then on the photos find them — every one they are in, delivered by text or email while they are still at the event, and still arriving as the night goes on.

Since then it has grown into the rest of what a live event needs: overlays and sponsor placements so every photo carries the brand, AI styles that turn a photo into something people actually post, live slideshows and share stations, automatic printing, and reporting so an operator can show a client what the night reached.

On facial recognition, specifically

We are deliberate about this part. Facial recognition is powerful and easy to do badly. Ours only ever matches a guest to photographs from the same operator’s events, with each operator’s data kept separate from every other. Nothing is attached to a face until a guest registers themselves. Any guest can delete their own face data whenever they want, and it is destroyed automatically after one year of inactivity whether they ask or not.

We do not sell it, we do not build advertising profiles from it, and we do not use it to identify anyone outside that one purpose. How it works, in plain language →
